The team draws from AKC breed standards, Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) regional cost indices, and published industry rate surveys to produce breed- and metro-specific price estimates. Content is compiled by our editorial process. PlainPetCare is informational only and does not constitute veterinary advice; the team does not accept payment from groomers, boarders, trainers, or industry associations to maintain independence.
